Worm's Head Community Walk 05/05

Service Description

Join us for a community walk across The Worm's Head in Rhossili. This is one of our most adventurous walks to date, so please check the details to decide whether it is suitable for you. Meeting at 8.30am on Sunday morning in the National Trust carpark in Rhossili, we head out to the mythical Worm's Head. This is a more challenging walk, which requires some scrambling and a lot of walking across very uneven ground. There are more risks of falling involved in this walk, and many trip hazards along the route. If you are uncomfortable with heights, this may not be suitable for you. The walk takes us along the causeway and across to the tidal island of The Worm's Head, providing breathtaking views of Rhossili Bay. With time for tea & snacks (please come prepared with your own flask and nibbles), we are allowing 3.5-4 hrs for this walk. Wear shoes that are suitable for crossing sharp rocks, warm layers and water. Please remember that this is not a guided walk, but a community gathering, and by choosing to come along, you take responsibility for your own safety and wellbeing. Cancellation Policy

Please read prior to booking; refund policy varies depending on the service booked. Refund available for up to 14 days prior to public events that are up to one day long (e.g. day retreat, yoga & brunch, morning/afternoon workshops, mini-retreats etc.). For events longer than one day: the deposit is non-refundable. If a client decides to cancel a booking, they must email as soon as possible. Cancellations made within 6 weeks of the event are non-refundable. Cancellations made prior to 12 weeks before the event will be eligible for a 50% refund of the total amount due, those made 8 weeks in advance of the event will be eligible for 25% refund of the total amount due. Please note that as deposits are not refundable, any bookings where the deposit amounts to more than 50% will not receive the deposit and the amount refunded may result to less than 50% if cancelled at least 12 weeks in advance. If an event is cancelled on Salt & Light Retreat's behalf, a full refund will be provided.
