Upcoming Retreats
Take time out from your regular life to renew your energy, connect and grow. We hold a number of retreats, with different focuses that provide different experiences.
WINTERING | NOV 12-15th | GOWER

A cosy long weekend that supports you through the seasonal shift. Staying in a lovely house near the beach, we enjoy soothing practices alongside wild coastal walks and optional sea dips.
This retreat is medicine for winter, offering ease and lightness as the dark nights draw in.
RISING WOMAN | MARCH 4-7th | GOWER

A deep dive into reclaiming the feminine within. Through hearing the stories of ancient goddesses, ceremony, singing, reflection, creativity and yoga, we weave back together the parts of ourselves who've been lost, forgotten or undiscovered.
This retreat is a journey of discovery, unlearning and rewriting our identity.
MIDSUMMER MAGIC | JUNE 24-27th | PEMBROKESHIRE

A joyful long weekend of walks, yoga, delicious food and play. This is an opportunity to restore your energy - and come back to who you really are, through a nurturing, beautiful time in gorgeous Pembrokeshire with great company.
This retreat is a summer break to bring your back to your unworried, unburdened, centred self.
FAQ's ABOUT RETREATS
What happens on Salt & Light Retreats?
A typical retreat includes yoga, time in nature, nourishing vegan food, time to rest and plenty of space to simply be. Each retreat is different, with its own rhythm, theme and activities - so check the individual retreat page for the full itinerary.
Is it suitable for people new to yoga?
Absolutely. You don't need previous experience to come on one of our retreats. Rose has been teaching a wide range of abilities for over ten years, so you'll be in safe hands.
Can I come on my own?
Yes! People often come on their own, and you won't be expected to arrive knowing anyone. Retreats naturally create opportunities to connect with other people, while there is also space to enjoy your own time.
What if I'm coming with a friend/parter?
That's also welcomed! You can share the experience while still having plenty of opportunities to do your own thing. You can usually choose shared or private accommodation on retreats.
What is the food like?
All of our food is vegan, nourishing and delicious! We strive to provide seasonal, whole-food and organic dishes, and plastic-free packaged wherever possible. You're promised to leave feeling well fed. Further dietary requirements and allergies can usually be accommodated, so just make a note in your booking form.
Do I have to take part in everything?
No - this is your retreat, to make it as you like. While we create a suggested rhythm for our time together, you're never obliged to attend every practice or activity. Resting, going for a walk, reading a book or having some quiet time is all welcomed.
Is there free time?
Yes, we deliberately leave space in the schedule for rest, wandering, sleeping, reading, chatting, crafting, or simply doing nothing!
What should I bring?
You'll receive an email in the run-up to your retreat with information on how to reach the venue, what to pack and what to expect from our time together. But generally, you'll want comfortable clothes for yoga and relaxing, slippers, outdoor clothes and shoes for walking, swim stuff if you might like to dip. A refillable water bottle and anything else that'll help you to be comfortable. We can provide yoga mats etc. if you need to borrow anything for the practice.
What makes these retreats different?
We bring together the things we believe help us to live life well - nature, movement, nourishment, community and self-discovery. There's yoga, but the retreat is about much more than the physical practice. We create space to slow down, reconnect with yourself and others, spend time outdoors and come back to what matters. We offer an opportunity to step our of your usual life for a while, and come back to yourself again.
Still unsure about something? Send us a message, we'd love to help.
