Service Description

We are coming together for an intimate afternoon of stories, singing and the blissful heat of the sauna. Storyteller and writer, Kim Willis is joining us for this magical experience - to share stories of the ancestry of our land & sea, to inspire our imaginations. Harri, owner of Ty Sawna will also be treating us to some special sauna scrubs, to nourish our bodies. And Rose will be leading us in medicine songs, to raise our energies and soothe our souls. Together, we will share in the songs and stories of the powerful women who have kept the flame of connection with ourselves and with nature before us, all alongside our own primal experiences of singing together and soaking in the sea & sauna. Sunday 27th October, 2-5pm, we will be based in Oxwich by Ty Sawna for a wholesome time together. We start with a welcome circle, where Rose will lead a meditation and Kim will share the first story around a fire. Next we dip in the sea and move into the sauna for another story & song, with plenty of space to float between the sea and the heat for an hour. Additionally, we'll be treated to a sauna scrub, led by Harri (owner of Ty Sawna). Once we've nourished our bodies with the hot/cold therapy, we will return to our beach fire for some final songs, whilst drinking foraged herbal tea and enjoying a vegan treat. We meet outside Ty Sawna, please be aware that there are parking charges for the beach carpark. Please bring two towels for the sauna/sea, plenty of warm clothes, a bottle of water and you might want a blanket or something else to sit on outside also. Cancellation Policy

Please read prior to booking; refund policy varies depending on the service booked. Refund available for up to 14 days prior to public events that are up to one day long (e.g. day retreat, yoga & brunch, morning/afternoon workshops, mini-retreats etc.). For events longer than one day: the deposit is non-refundable. If a client decides to cancel a booking, they must email as soon as possible. Cancellations made within 6 weeks of the event are non-refundable. Cancellations made prior to 12 weeks before the event will be eligible for a 50% refund of the total amount due, those made 8 weeks in advance of the event will be eligible for 25% refund of the total amount due. Please note that as deposits are not refundable, any bookings where the deposit amounts to more than 50% will not receive the deposit and the amount refunded may result to less than 50% if cancelled at least 12 weeks in advance. If an event is cancelled on Salt & Light Retreat's behalf, a full refund will be provided.
